Armando E Giuliano, MD, FACS

Armando E Giuliano, MD, FACS, is Chief of Science and Medicine, Director of the Breast Center at the John Wayne Cancer Institute at Saint John’s Health Center, and a Surgical Oncologist who specializes in breast disease. Dr Giuliano is Past Chairman of the American College of Surgeons (ACS) Oncology Group Breast Organ Site Research Committe, and Chairman of the Breast Fellowship Program Director’s Committee for the Society of Surgical Oncology. In addition to being the author of several hundred peer-reviewed journal articles, he is a pioneer in the development of sentinel lymph node biopsy in breast cancer.
