David Keeling
David Keeling is a Consultant Haematologist at Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals and an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer in Haematology at the University of Oxford. He works entirely in the field of haemostasis and thrombosis, dealing with haemophilia and other bleeding disorders, thrombophilia, thrombosis and general coagulation. Dr Keeling is Secretary of the British Committee for Standards in Haematology, Haemostasis and Thrombosis Task Force and a member of the coagulation steering committee of the UK National External Quality Assessment Scheme. He is also Secretary of the United Kingdom Haemophilia Doctors’ Organisation and a member of that organisation’s working parties on von Willebrand disease and inhibitors. Dr Keeling qualified from St Bartholomew’s Hospital Medical School in London and trained in haematology at the Royal Free Hospital in London, the Royal London Hospital and Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge.
