Muriel Meiring

Muriel Meiring is an Associate Professor and Specialist Scientist in the Department of Haematology and Cell Biology at the University of the Free State at Bloemfontein in South Africa. She established the Specialised Haemostasis Laboratory at the University of the Free State as a reference centre for von Willebrand disease (VWD). Professor Meiring’s list of publications and congress presentations has won various awards at local and national congresses.
