Cheng-Han Huang
Cheng-Han Huang, MD, PhD, is Head of the Laboratory of Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics at Lindsley F Kimball Research Institute of the New York Blood Center in New York City. Dr Huang’s studies are focused on model organisms to probe the structure–function relationships of the Rhesus (Rh) protein family, including both its erythroid members and non-erythroid homologs widely expressed in mammalian epithelial tissues. Dr Huang received his MD from Hunan Medical University (formerly Yale-in-China Medical College) in 1982 and his PhD in biochemistry from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York in 1990.
