    Prof. Nicole Concin

    Prof. Nicole Concin is a gynaecological oncologist and professor of experimental gynaecology at the Innsbruck Medical University. read more

    Prof. Concin completed her medical degree at the Medical University of Vienna, Austria, and completed post-doctoral research in molecular oncology at Stony Brook University, New York, NY, USA. She is certified as a specialist in gynaecology and obstetrics by the Austrian Medical Association and received the Flemish subspecialty certification in gynaecological oncology from the University of Leuven, Belgium.

    Prof. Concin is President of the European Society of Gynaecological Oncology (ESGO), Chair of the Early Drug Development Group of the European Network of Gynaecological Oncological Trial groups (ENGOT), education faculty member for gynaecological cancer of the European Society for Medical Oncology, member of the International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics’ Subcommittee on Endometrial Cancer, and board member of the Austrian and German working groups of Gynaecologic Oncology.

    Prof. Concin’s research focuses on gynaecological oncology. She has led multiple translational and clinical research projects worldwide and has provided her expertise in over 75 international clinical trials in gynaecological oncology, several of which she served as principal and global coordinating investigator.

    In recognition of Prof. Concin’s ability and achievements, she has received multiple grants and awards including the Univ.-Prof. Dr. Karl Fellinger Award of the Austrian Cancer Aid. She has also contributed to the field of gynaecological oncology with over 120 publications.

    Dr Mansoor Raza Mirza

    Dr Mansoor Raza Mirza, MD, is a highly accomplished chief oncologist at the Department of Oncology at Rigshospitalet – Copenhagen University Hospital in Denmark, and also holds the esteemed position of medical director of the Nordic Society of Gynaecological Oncology – Clinical Trial Unit. read more

    With an extensive background in his field, Dr Mirza has held several leadership roles, including his former position as chair of the European Network of Gynaecological Oncological Trial groups, and his current role as vice president of the European Society of Gynaecological Oncology.

    Dr Mirza is also the executive director of the Gynecologic Cancer Intergroup and a distinguished faculty member of both the European Society for Medical Oncology and the European School of Oncology. Over the course of his impressive career spanning more than three decades, Dr Mirza has served as study chair for multiple clinical trials in gynaecological cancer and has authored over 100 publications in his field. His expertise has led to numerous invitations to speak at most of the international oncology congresses.

    Dr Sandro Pignata is a medical oncologist and chief of the division of medical oncology of the Department of Urology and Gynecology, Istituto Nazionale Tumori IRCCS Fondazione G Pascale in Naples, Italy. read more

    Dr Pignata was born in Naples, Italy. He completed his MD in 1986 at Naples University, and a PhD in gastroenterological science at the University of Rome in 1990. Since 1993, he has been a member of staff at the National Cancer Institute in Naples.

    Dr Pignata is past president of the Multicenter Italian Trials in Ovarian cancer group, past chair of the European Network of Gynaecological Oncological Trial groups, and has been a member of the educational committee of the European Society for Medical Oncology and the Gynecologic Cancer InterGroup.
