Secretary General of the European Association of Urology (EAU), Prof Arnulf Stenzl, discusses what he hopes to see in the field of uro-oncological surgery in the next five years. He hopes this will include improving early detection of prostate cancer and therefore the possibility of avoiding surgery; improving prognostic factors and diagnosis in early disease and bladder preservation through immunotherapy in bladder cancer patients.
