With the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Congress 2026 fast approaching, attention is turning to Madrid, where the meeting is held from 23–27th October. The impact on patients diagnosed with tenosynovial giant cell tumour (TGCT) can be profound. It is characterized by high recurrence rates, chronic symptoms, and frequent delays in specialist care. Although it is a benign tumor, diffuse TGCT often requires complex multidisciplinary management similar to that used in sarcoma care.
