It was a pleasure to meet Suzanne Wait, Secretariat from All.Can International, at the ECCO 2019 European Cancer Summit in Brussels to discuss the All.Can initiative on inefficiency of cancer care.

Questions
1. In what way is the cancer care worldwide inefficient? Does this inefficiency harm current treatment effectiveness and outcomes? (0:08)
2. The ‘All.Can’ international initiative has been established to improve efficiency in cancer care by focusing on what matters to patients. Is attempting to address the care of all cancer types an overly ambitious goal? (1:11)
3. Can you outline the objectives of ‘All.Can’ and explain how the data will be collected? (1:50)
4. What is the duration of the ‘All.Can’ initiative and how many patients and stakeholders will be involved? (3:26)
5. When available, how will the findings of ‘All.Can’ be used; will they influence government policies and improve the care delivered to patients? (4:57)

Suzanne Wait has no conflicts of interest to declare in relation to this video.

Filmed in partnership with the European CanCer Organisation at the ECCO 2019 European Cancer Summit in Brussels, Belgium.
