Dr Eric Winer (President, American Society of Clinical Oncology [ASCO]) shares his highlights from the recently-concluded European Cancer Summit 2022, held in Brussels. He focuses particularly on the opening session ‘Action on Cancer Inequalities: Our Shared Roadmap’, which aims to achieve a 70% survival rate, on average, for all cancer patients in Europe by 2035. Dr Winer shares his optimism on not only achieving this goal, but perhaps increasing the percentage too.
